Yaaas on the Chanel I worked in a high end salon doing makeup, and I had socialite clients who would bring in their own makeup for me to use on them- instead of the Aveda and Tigi/Beadhead we had, and I couldn't blame them. I wished I could afford it myself, especially the foundation and powder, but any of it I would have killed for It made me a better artist having to get crappie products to perform, but there are so many better products for the price. I got big into depotting cause the name doesn't say much about a product itself.

Not as expensive, but I did expect way more from MACs mineralize skinfinish in lighgscapade. Even with the fix+ hack it doesnt give me the kind of luminosity I want, and for instance, the Mary Lou Manizer by Balm does a way better job. The skinfinish is simply a product I dont know how to use, I even tried applying it all over the face with a very light big fluffy brush to get that subtle all round flow but it just emphasized my fine lines and even broke me out a little. If you have a hack, do help

A friend of my mom was a luxury make up addict and whenever she was bored of something I got it, so when I was 15 I had the Chanel eyeshadow quad, a lip Palette, a blush and some lipglosses and even back then I didn't like them hahahaha The eyeshadows were not very pigmented plus that horrible applicator, the blush was way to glittery, the glosses too sticky. the packaging was beautiful of course and that lip palette was amazing but over all even 16 years ago I knew they weren't worth the price; )

I bought the Chanel quad last year in the one with the blue shadow in it. I didnt care for it an it made my eyes itch. I looked in my make up stash an the mirror is off the quad Go figure. I expected way more to. I was so let down. Dior makes my eyes itch to for some reason. The Chanel was not buttery but felt chalky I so agree on that

When Tati was a little girl, the Chanel quads were much better quality and didn't look like the ones they have now. Those round quads are based on the European versions, and the eye shadows are baked. The North American ones, which were discontinued, were square-shaped and the shadows were not baked.

In reference to the Dior primer thats shiny, I actually LOVE illuminating primers - like the newer Smashbox x Vlada rose gold one. It actually is amazing; you use it - but the foundation that COVERS it cancels out a decent amount of the luminosity. but the ending result is a gorgeous glowy finish

Hello Tati i have a question, when i apply any cream or liquidy bronzer or contouring products over my foundations (the estee lauder double wear) and try to blend it moves all my foundation and leaves dark marks which ruins my foundation, how do u think i could fix this?

hello Tati; I completely agree with you about chanel eyeshadow. If anybody wants to spend too much money to eyeshadow should go with burbery in my opinion. Also don't give shts about the people says I love you because you are natural and yourself in your vids. hugs
