Yes the packages are overkill, but the majority are made from cardboard there for they are biodegradable unlike that plastic bubble wrap envelope from Maybelline you like. Just thought I'd chime in with my two cents, I'm not trying to insult or hurt anyones feelings just sharing.

I got sucked into all the unboxing videos. Haha all I have to say is Soap and Glory is the best thing ever I love all their bath and skin care stuff. Havent tried their make up though.
