I’m having to be cynical to Tatis reviews now since she gave such a fully endorsing review of Tir Tir cushion foundation with it extensive shade range.
I was so excited to check this foundation out because i’ve never found a cushion foundation that does dark and deep shade ranges.
Lo & behold this foundation had 9 shades of beige. The darkest shade was a Tan light.
I couldn’t have rolled my eyes harder.
If you’re going to sell a product to an international market like America, you need to launch with a shade range that covers a gradient. Even if it’s only Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, Dark and Deep 6 shades that cover all groups.
Then you can develop the undertones under each of the groups when finances and sales allow. Cool, neutral, warm, olive, yellow, rose etc.
I now listen to Tatis reviews with a huge dose of cynicism and appreciate she’s talking from her narrow perspective only.

I have lived in Texas my whole life. I know the severe weather alerts on your phone can be scary. I also live in the same county as you do. To help ease your anxiety for severe weather alerts remember two things. It doesn’t matter what part of the county the storms are in, the whole county gets the alert. We are pretty much in the center of the county, so storms in the south eastern part of the county won’t affect us. Storms generally are coming from the west southwest. The 2nd, the city you live in is in what old timers say is The your town (I don’t want to say the name) bubble. I’m not saying we don’t get storms in the bubble, but the majority of the time they go south and west of us. I hope this helps your anxiety a little bit, but please stay alert when they say your town or surrounding towns are in the line for storms.

I was thinking about trying the aerosol foundation bc I don't & really never have wore foundation & I'm 50, I've always had a tan, not a spray tan or fake tan, just a Suntan lol. I prefer natural color over foundation. I don't have leather skin, I can't say I don't have ANY sun damage, not enough that visual & my skin has ALWAYS been normal. Idk if that's bc I never wore foundation that clogged the pore's. My husband says he LOVES my skin it's always so soft very few wrinkles, I have a few crows feet but I am 55. I've tried foundation & always want to immediately take it off. Thanks for the heads up about that last item! Your's Truly Gen X Woman Mom and Wife

I wouldn't bother with the e. l. f. Jelly Pop Glow Reviver Lip Oil, I bought it this past weekend and I hate it! It felt (and tasted) like I dipped the applicator in Vaseline, there was practically no shimmer to it when applied just shine and the watermelon scent was not good at all. I hope you have a different experience but mine was a big disappointment. Anyhow, glad you guys were ok, I'm assuming since you're posting you made it out ok, that was one heck of a storm!

Uggh, the weather. I live in Claremore, OK, and we had an F3 come through Saturday night. So, I’ve spent my weekend cleaning up and helping neighbors. Part of living in Tornado Alley. I came here for a break. Stay safe. I like your background the way it is. My favorite luxury lipstick, so far, has been the Natasha Denona, I Need A Nude, lipstick I bought to go with my eyeshadow pallet. It is rich and creamy and lasts a long time.

I REALLY appreciate these videos. I REALLY regret products that don't work regardless of the price point.
Praying for a non-eventful tornado season for you. Being from the Midwest, tornado's are very common with hail damage sometimes being the worst of it all but also acknowledging the destruction and fatalities. You might want to consider a generator for those times when power is out. We never know for how long.

Yay, new video! for luxury lipstick rec, I’d try Lisa Eldridge if you haven't, her lipsticks are at a new standard! And I like a lot of things/color in the background, it’s fun to figure out what’s back there sometimes! And lol, I kinda miss the days of the Marc Jacob palettes in the background, when loads of people would mention if they weren’t straight and lined up evenly; everyone always kept up with their status

I agree with the NYX slick click. I have the Tarte maracuja and they're completely different and so much better. The NYX one doesn't slide, it's so thick, weird texture, I don't like them either. The Revolution Infinite setting spray is however my absolute favourite, cause it doesn't stink but smells nice and it locks in everything and even more, I don't have to touch up. So I understand how it can be drying to someone.

I would love to hear about the MEH products! I also am only interested in purchasing the best performing products. I'd also love to hear about any muted-toned makeup that worked well. I have a light warm olive complexion that works best with muted shades, but all I ever see are eye-candy palletes with bright colors that would have me looking crazy. Any recommendations would be super helpful.

We had a tornado warning yesterday. We lost power for a few hours. We waited a little bit and went to a drive-through for dinner. If the power wasn't back on after that we were going to go to a hotel. Our fence is still broken from the tornado before, and the insurance companies are still fighting. Thankfully we had power again. We need power for our CPAPs, and breast milk.

I love trying new shower gels and lotions, but I grew up (now in my 50s) with my mom having me take a small amount of baby oil and rubbing it all over after a shower before toweling off. Yes, I’m sure a lot ends up on the towel, but I always go back to this to prevent dry skin. 99 cents a bottle and soft silky skin nothing works better.

Houston just barely recovered from a tornado passing through--It came out of no where. No warning, nothing. I went outside to bring my plant in that had knocked over, and the wind was blowing so hard that the rain slapped the side of my head. I heard ringing it hit me so hard please take care, tati. This Texas weather ain't no joke

I yet haven't met any mascara or lipstick that didn't come off with Clinique's Take the day off cleasing balm and dupe of a dupe of makeup eraser. They together with few minutes of letting the balm do its magic has never failed me. And I have been wearing crazy amounts of everything from time to time.

Its weird, but this is the first time I feel like maybe you speed up your audio In some parts Just hearing something different.
Would love to see colour blocking style on the shelving Groups of green, yellow etc. Just a thought
I never liked scented lip products. Hate it.

reply

Tati don't be sorry about saying something isnt working for you. The more people taking the products off the shelf the higher the prices are for others that do like it. I dont think they want that to happen. That being said. Your hair is gorgeous today.

Going to list some rubbish products here as well the pixie blushes no pigment the IT cc foundation in light it is still too dark for my pale skin tone and the ysl lipsticks just looked a bit meh on me and tasted gross of watermelon
reply

I would love a video of it’s meh products! Hope you made it through the storms! Where I’m at, we already got hail four times this year, which is probably three times more than the last two years combined.
reply

Tati have you ever tried, Jerome Alexander aerosol spray foundation a lot of my friends use that foundation. I’ve never used it before, but I thought I’d recommend it to you to see what you think about it.
