Please be careful where you are buying your makeup. Chez La Mez: I think it could start with Beauty gurus making their products accessable to everyone. Beauty guru makeup prices are so high Unnecessarily high. I don't wear makeup but I think you are shaming people who cannot afford the prices you guru's charge, just for frickin eyeshadow. They want to be apart of this community too and I can imagine people turning to counterfeit because it's their only option. I'm sorry but this is just part and parcel of makeup, someone is always going to cash in and make it cheaper. Making this video is never ever going to change that. It doesn't make it right but it will also never change. I think beauty gurus have a different idea of what is affordable to working class people on an actual true budget. I could never afford one of your pallettes, but I could afford a counterfeit one(good thing I don't wear makeup.

This is a huge problem in soooo many industries. Its super dangerous health wise in the beauty community but in other industries its financially devastating. Im also part of the crafting community and designers stuff is stolen and sold as knock offs all the time by these Chinese sites. Crafting businesses are so small they are often affected to the point of having to go out of business. Artists that create with their products also have their work stolen and put up on these sites to promote selling the products. It is so difficult for businesses to fight this and the best thing to do is make people super aware that this is dangerous and not ok.

Dearest Tati, I am so inspired by your approach to life, your dedication to your moral code, and your open, honest communication. Im the President of a tech company selling gear measurement equipment to the auto industry. I know what youre thinking. cool? Im not a makeup guru and dont wear much of it even though I watch every video you post. If you are EVER in need of an executive with a background in sales & operations management, I would be there to support you in a heartbeat. In the meantime, lets change the world with our wallets. I cant WAIT to receive my pallet Love to all

-Welcome to my Tati Talk- Must say I am amazed by your integrity and honesty as you run your businesses. This conversation totally needed to happen, especially around the holidays when we are all trying to stretch a buck and fulfill wishes. Also, as someone who had a horrendous contact allergic reaction around my eyes (due to a skin 'cleanser') that progressed to an inflammatory response that damaged my cornea. learn from my blissful ignorance and consider carefully where you purchase. It has permanently changed my view, literally and figuratively. Much and respect

another thing is, my mom again ordered me a palette from tati beauty, but she tried about 4 cards and they said it didnt go through, and then eventually it went through, and sure enough we got two identical packages in the mail with two tati beauty palettes, and now were stuck with two and nothing to do with one of them, and again, its canadian dollars so we payed an insane amount for them, and my mom wants to sell it on ebay for a lesser price just to get rid of it.

This is insane. I decided to watch Broken, the whole series. And this is just crazy. We as consumers should strive for better. I suggest everyone with a Netflix account watches it. It is so crazy. Between plastic, toddlers dying from badly designed furniture, Juuls targeting minors. Wow, this is insane. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.

Tati, Im a huge fan of yours and I love how genuine you are. I hear what youre saying and I agree, but maybe read up on Amazon and how they treat employees. John Oliver has a great piece in it. You want people to be educated shoppers and Thad should include industry giants that sell more than your counterfeit makeup.

What scares me is that I actually bought eyeshadows on that street they refer to back in 2007-2008, no brand names, but still omg. Since 2009 though I refuse to buy anything from the street, or websites that are not the actual artist sites. And yes I totally bought your palette from your website

Yes the documentary was interesting but why doesnt anyone touch on the topic of mica, child labor, impacts of manufacturing, unsafe working conditions, influencers being not genuine? I understand counterfeit makeup is important but no one talks about these issues. Just my opinion
