I'm 47 and so my eyes are now becoming a little more hooded. So a game changer for me is putting on a primer before I put on my mascara. I have used so many different brands but I have found the best happens to be the cheapest and it comes from Essence. What's also great about it is that it is white, so if you have dark lashes like I do, when you want to use colored mascaras like purple, blue or green, the primer makes the mascara POP.

Tubing mascaras: Thrive is my favorite and I get the most compliments. I worked for Trish McEvoy and she’s the OG of tubing. She has two formulas, High Volume which isn’t High Volume to me more lengthening and Lash Curling which to me is more volumizing. Elf tubular is meh. Dior whom I also worked for is a classic sold tons to repeat customers. All formulas. Great rundown.

All of the mascaras u mentioned give me raccoon eyes. Even the essence no panda eyes gave me panda eyes. Stuck better to my skin than the lashes. My 2 fav tubing mascaras are the tarte xl and the alleyoop tubing mascara. I have been using the house labs mascara and love it. I don’t curl my lashes or wear falsies. It definitely curls them and makes my eyes look huge.

I’m here for it! I must admit, ever since Scott Barnes admitted skepticism about the rubber mascara brushes, I’ve stayed away from them, and I agree with him! I recently saw a video where Pat McGrath said sometimes for shows, they’ll do brown mascara near the lash line and then black mascara at the tips! If I had enough patience and skill, I’d try it!

Love this! I’ve been in the market for a new tube of mascara.
I know you’re a full coverage fan, but when you start getting into the GOAT foundations can you separate it into like full coverage and no makeup makeup I’m looking for a new sheer skin tint situation as it starts to warm up for spring and you’ve never steered me wrong before!

My go to mascara is covergirl lash blast clean waterproof in the color black/brown. I have very sensitive eyes and straight lashes and this holds my curl and looks perfect. I don’t know how many I’ve purchased, but I will always go back to this.
PS I don’t know why but the black one doesn’t work as well

Favorite tubing mascara currently for me is Kiss Me Heroine Make Long Up. I can go snorkeling/swimming with it on all day & it will not budge! Yes, it’s that waterproof. Use an oil based remover to get it off because makeup wipes/micellar water do not work.
Great video as usual Tati

I will definitely try some! Sadly the green Essence one crumbled on me and gave me Panda eyes on every single day that I tested it. And the Lash Paradise will dry up terribly after two months, so I'm currently on Maybelline Sky High and really adore that it comes off with just warm water.

Essence (green and blue) was gar-bage to both me and my mom. I have oily skin and she has dry. Absoultely horrible. Both looked like pandas.
Maybeline Lash Sensational
Dior Overcurl
Gosh Copenhagen Catchy Eyes Mascara Drama Extreme Black (gold tube, perfume free version.

I can’t wear purple mascara or eyeliner, I am allergic to something in the color. I only bring this up because just recently I tried a brown mascara for the first time time and I had a very similar reaction. I am wondering if they share some similar red pigments

I'm so glad you included the Dior Overcurl! I've been using it for years and people will ask me if I have false lashes on. It is definitely a mascara that takes some getting used to or practice. It is thick but once you get it, it's gorgeous! Absolutely no fall out!

Tati, PLEASE PLEASE review the Catrice Go Big, Go Bold Mascara! Black tube with Pink Metallic writing. It kicks Essence's Lash Princess's butt big time and they are sister companies. This really needs a shout out and it's like everyone is sleeping on it!

I'd love to see this for concealer! I also really needed this for mascara. I've been using the same one for so long and wanted to switch it up. I thought I found a new favorite - it was so good at first but then dried out so fast.

Thrive beauty Liquid Lash lash extensions- doesn’t flake or smudge. Washes off easily. I am an ER Nurse and it lasts 15 hours. From the time I put it on in the morning till I drive home and take it off at night.

Maybelline lashsensational full fan effect is my rise or die and has been for years. I have super sensitive eyes, and it is longwear, smudge/budgeproof. And i loooove a rubber brush, i get much better results.

Literally go swimming, literally 5 star reviews. It's literally like listening to the person who says 'like' all the time. Literally I do enjoy watching but literally can't take it anymore. Literally.

i could neveer undestnd the hype arrpund esscense. it was super clumpy for me and felt crappy. my firend hAS gone through 100s of those tubes and thats why i got it too. but it didnt seem to work for me

The color of your shirt really makes your eyes pop! Really love to have GOAT videos because I work in the makeup department and I constantly get asked those questions and I don't wear a lot of makeup
reply

The color of your shirt is so good on you. I'm using Climax by NARS and I like it. I can tell that there is better out there and I might try something in this video. NARS isn't bad though.
reply

Tati have you tried the Japanese mascara Heroine Make I'm curious how you would like that as it's a holy grail in the asian community - for those of use with sparse, short, straight lashes
