Tati, with the Medik8 retinol there's 6 tiers of strengths you can work your way up (so your skin can get used to the actives. You used no. 10 which has 0. 10% retinaldehyde (similar to 1% retinOL respectively). The Shani Darden has 2. 2% retinol, so you might be better off trialling either the Medik8 20 (0. 20% retinaldehyde) or 24 (0. 24% retinaldehyde. The percentages between retinol and retinaldehyde are not directly comparable, but retinaldehyde is often described as being 10 - 20% more powerful respectively.

Tati, if you want a powerful retinoid that will give you results, use tretinoin. You will need an Rx (can often even get online, its usually 70$ roughly a rube (can be only a few dollars if you have insurance) and is up to 20x stronger than retinol. Definitely do your research and start at the lowest dose, but it is far superior than retinol (and cheaper) if your skin can tolerate it (you still have to start low and slow though)

Tati! I wish you would talk about Tarte Maracuja (I know that’s not how it’s spelled lol) skin oil. I know it’s been around for years but I love face oil and have been using BioOil off and on for years along with other oils but I’ve always been curious about Tarte. It kinda pricey even though I am willing to spend money on skin care, I just don’t want to waste my money or my time. I’d love to know your thoughts

Great video as always! I am looking for a recommendation. I am 45. I am kinda wanting to try a glowy primer for the summer. I have never really been into them because I prefer a smoothing primer, but I feel like switching things up. I know glowy isn't ideal for someone my age. But I want to try it anyway for fun. Any recommendations for something that is not too greasy, and will still provide a bit of smoothing

I am all about these videos. It helps me know what and what not to look at. I'm not on the removing talc train. How many other foods, drinks, nicotine, fumes, substances, etc. do we use every day and not think about the health effects It's crazy to me that they're removing it. Make 2 versions of it. with and without talc and let the consumer decide. That's my 2 cents that no one asked for!

What strength did you use in the Medik8 If you use a lower strength like 3/6 or 10 you probably won’t see much results. I use the 20 and love it. I was using tretinoin and always having dry flakes but with the Medik8. I still get good results and no dryness. They also have a higher strength of 24 so I can bump up to that one when I am ready. I absolutely love it

I have messaged living proof multiple times about the potential migraine inducing odor of their dry shampoo. I do think it’s a pretty good dry shampoo once you learn the correct way to use it. I will say that they have good customer service because they refunded me when I was unable to use it. Nothing is worth a migraine.

Hi anyone ordered the Amiro LED mask off Tati's code I made the order on May 1 but still not receiving any processed and tracking. I have sent emails no reply and asked on live chat but it's bot. Also DM them and no reply. Is anyone receiving their order or any tracking
I think the CS team of Amiro is lack luster

Thank you for talking about talc responsibly, you covered the issue well. If it helps assure you, the industry going through this shift simultaneously means R&D is highly motivated to be first to market with equivalent finish & wear time. Few industries are primed to innovate as quickly as cosmetics!

I’d like to see you try out or review the Brad Mondo dry shampoo! I’ve been thinking about buying it myself, but I’ve never used dry shampoo, and I’m not sure if I want to spend my money on something I’m not experienced with or knowledgeable about. Love to see your input on it!

How in gods name can you recommend the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm if you cannot stand eye sting! It contains a MILLION sensitizing EO’s, & it feels exactly like rubbing vaseline on your face. I’ve tried hundreds of cleansers, & it’s hands DOWN one of the worst I’ve ever used!

I'm so glad you are also sensitive to these fragrances that are put in products - maybe these companies will listen to you and just STOP with the scent. I don't wear perfume for a reason and I certainly don't want any product that is so heavily perfumed that it will give me a migraine.

I bought the Westman drops before you reviewed them. They are extremely tricky to work with, I have found using the tiniest little dot with the sculpt side of the Patrick Ta brush ends up working out pretty good and slowly building up because that stuff is so dang pigmented!

Omg, that Living Proof dry shampoo Yup. Migraine city. I got a travel size for free and sprayed it once, smelled it and realized, NOPE. Had a migraine in minutes. Washed my hair not too long after because I couldn't handle the fragrance that kept making my migraine worse.

Please stay on the setting powder quest. I remember when Mel Thompson got upset when Chanel changed the formulation of their setting powder. I don’t think she ever found one she liked better so please carry on the search in her memory. I miss her content so much but I love you too.

Tati! You HAVEEEEE to try BENEFIT'S POREFESSIONAL LOOSE SETTING POWDER. It's literally the best. Laura Mercier the original was my fav but ever since I've gotten Benefit's, she's first in line. Super smoothing, blurs pores, and natural. Doesnt cling onto texture or dry patches

For make up remover I use pond’s cold cream. To wash my face I use Aveeno cleansing. For moisturizer I use aveeno or Cerve At night I use retinol Before bed I mix Vaseline with the Estee Lauder night advance cream. I also apply Vaseline to my Elbows, my neck and my arms.

Love your warnings as well as your recommendations. Have you tried Kiehls midnight recovery cleansing oil I find it works great for my just turned 60 year old skin. Subtle spa like smell. Removes my make up very well and washes away perfectly. Bottle lasts forever

Sister I’m dying to know your feelings on the new Givenchy pressed powder! I’ve been testing it and I think I’m liking it. I loveddddd the old loose powder formula and was heartbroken to see the formula change but this new pressed powder might be a success!

Love the Westman Atelier bronzing Drops!
Put it on the back of my hand first. Take a brush and work it into the bristles. Then do light stamping on the areas of the face. It is gorgeous. But please take only a small amount, less is more. It’s natural in the skin
