I find these women refreshing because they are true weirdos - - thoughtful, outcast daydreamers, lived with their parents until they were in their mid-thirties--they strike me as genuinely unusual and imaginative people who live and create in a world of their own. So many people in fashion are vapid and aloof, whereas both of these women are very down-to-earth, and truly eccentric.

I love their philosophy of clothe making. It is more than a business but a way to express their art. I have to say that every fashion week, I am eager to see what Rodarte has created. Their creations are breathtaking and literally a breath of fresh air in the fashion world.

rodarte's one of the few collections i look forward to each season; one of the few that pushes boundaries subtlety(instead of pushing your face into, in turn moving the dialogue of what is fashion forward. kudos to the mulleavy sisters' talents!

I like this interview but at the same time i agree with those who say that Rodarte collections are very poorly done. They may have good ideas and aesthetics but the technical side of their creations is catastrophic.

i like these ladies they seem more down to earth and devoid of putting on airs that so many other people in the fashion industry. They are articulate and intelligent without being alienating plus they produce great work.
