Anna Wintour and Hamish Bowles are joined by Sofia Coppola, Margaret Qualley, Inez Van Lamsweerde, and Vinoodh Matadin in this episode of Good Morning Vogue to discuss all things Chanel, from house-codes and the iconic brands' transformative impact on the fashion world in the 1920-s, to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld era and the new regime of Virginie Viard. -Correction

I would like to know why designers dress so drab or mundane all the type. Sure they do not have the body type of their models but surely a designer knows how to dress their own body. Karl is an exception but people like Virginie, donatella and many others always show up in black trousers and a t-shirt, not ti mention their mundane red carpet looks.

Ok, bc u know fashion doesn-t mean u know hair color. Hamish looks like a Just for Men box. His colorist should BE FIRED. He-s a natural level 6, and they-ve colored him to a 4 level, and he looks like Gomez Adams. There-s options that could make him look more natural.

Loved watching this. Sometimes we need a bit of luxury in our lives even if we can-t afford it. But we gather so much out of seeing people being creative and doing it amongst friends. It-s awesome.

don't know why M. Qualley is involved. not been with Chanel very long at all! Not really experienced in fashion if we are honest. Should have tried to get past muses or ambassadors involved.

Chanel needs to get on top of its quality issues before people start walking away forever. Beautiful clothes and bags won-t mean much if people won-t buy them because there-s more issues than not.

Chanel lost its luster a long time ago. Chanel stopped being a classy brand many years ago. It has since been all about gaudy/flashy unwearable clothing even when Karl was still alive.

Ridiculous woman. Wearing sun glasses infront of the camera. Sence when insanity is considered fashionable. She probably has the biggest insecurities. Take off your sun glasses win nut

I respect what Karl did with the brand but as a consumer I prefer what Virginia is doing right now. Chanel is more feminine and softer now, and suddenly I'm obsessed.

It's so great to see all these clothes up close and appreciate the details - the fabrics, the buttons, the ribbons. everything is just so exquisite.
