In reality what we’re watching is how they come up with designs or their creative process so basically R&D, but when it comes to actual manufacturing the bags that is done in a factory and now Hermes bags are half handstitched half machine stitched. It’s funny how they’ve created this PR machine to create a fantasy as if they’re still sewing all these bags by hand when an actuality, they are not.

This is really scandalous. Vogue is a magazine and should provide information about fashion. This is just plain advertising. It's outrageous that someone at Vogue allows this.
To be clear: what I think has nothing to do with the brand itself and whether it is beautiful, ugly or whatever. The point is that Vogue should only engage in such practices if they make it clear that this is an advertisement.

Most of those workers were confused as to why she was even there, as in saying she’s never here, why is she here today Lol.
It’s like when your bosses boss comes into the office and gives a tour to higher up people and starts interacting with the staff when in reality they know nothing about the team and what they do.

What you don’t see in this video is that none of the Hermes supply chain is certified by crucial labor standards and there is no indication that they partake in fair and just labor practices. Stop putting these bags and this company on a pedestal. Beyonce said Birkins, them shits in storage for a reason.

They are absolutely beautiful bags, but the prices are crazy, even with the amount of hand crafting involved in their creation.
