It did immediately break my heart to hear Jennifer casually discuss Diddy literally telling her No and controlling what outfits she wore, especially on such a big night for her career, and (we now know) she just had to go along with it. I always assumed it was Jennifer's style or her team's fashion sense that inspired that look! We see it as iconic now, but in 2024, it's interesting to learn it's just something else in Hip-Hop's history that's tarnished by Diddy's involvement!

One of my favorite style periods for Jennifer Lopez was the short hair cut during her This Is Me Then photo shoots. But also, I love the look she's rocking on this video. This look suits her very well.
That said, I really like her with her darker hair. Darker hair makes her features pop in such a pretty way. A great example of this was when she was in U-Turn with Sean Penn. She looked so gorgeous to me with her dark hair.

TBH i feel like this is one of the most underwhelming life in looks episodes. I'm a huge fan of Jennifer and we are all aware of her incredible fashion sense and iconic looks! In all of her life in looks you chose the ones we've already seen the most AND half of them were of recent years! I feel like it's an injustice to Jennifer's impact on fashion over the course of her career. This feels lazy

Jlo has a tooooon more looks that millennials will remember. She was our latina Marilyn. Can say the today Kim K Reason why I mention Kim and even mention her in the same sentence as Jlo and Marilyn is because all 3 were bullied, mocked, and yes hated! I personally am a fan of Marilyn. Love some of jlo hits and when Kim K came in with her contour and makeup!

Jlo is such a great inspiration for people that gravitate to soft colours. She is effortless with white, beige, ivory, baby blue and baby pinks. the soft honey hair and bronzed skin is such a nice compliment to those colours as well Fashion doesn't have to be black all the time.
