Style-wise there is not much to revisit.
Unfortunately none of them had a long impact on global style or fashion in general.
No relevant brand or designer collaborations, nothing subversive, new or groundbreaking in their presentation, nothing memorable other than amazing songs.
Maybe Brandy's hair had an impact in certain communities. but even the short Monica hair was a staple in the 90ie (Blackgirl, For Real, Halle, Toni etc)
But as performers and singers they are both unmatched.
For that alone they would deserve their own solo episodes!

I’m soooooo proud of them in the space they are in together and how far they’ve come. As two young black stars coming they were pitted against each other which was so upsetting, even though their careers mirrored each other and talents complimented each other so well!

Because of Monica's first album, I became addicted to the brand Caterpillar shoes until 2002. Basically, I grew up listening to Brandy, Monica, and Aaliyah in my teen years, until now. I really hope for a Monica Brandy duet album soon!

Loved this for them but still an empty void without their musical peer/classmate Aaliyah gone. When I think of who had the 90s - early 00s on lock was A B & M. Those 3 were the trifecta of running the game. THE BLUEPRINTS.

The marketing for this tour has been excellent. He Is by Brandy is a classic deep cut and glad they mentioned it. The real fans know. Hope she performs it at the upcoming tour. My fave Monica deep cut is Cross the Room

The joy it brings me when people of similar caliber show appreciation for each other and show that everyone can win is unmatched! I feel the same way when I see videos of Aretha & Patti, Chaka & Whitney, etc.

Grew up in the 90s idolizing them and now 2025 watching them together, still doing their thing. Can’t describe how amazing it feels. Love them so much. Gosh, I really miss the 90s. :’)

I can see why Whitney adored these two. I think it’s because she saw herself in both of them. Brandy was the more polish side and Monica was the more earthy side.
