You, do a great job! thank. you fr this very nice recipe too! Next time use boild milk instead of watter! Its great i bread! Just bring the same amount of liquid but use milk not wsterbto a hard boil and remove it from the heat at once! Cover it and let it cool to just a comfortable warm then bake bread the same way!
Talking flavor boost!

If you use this recipe, but add 2tbs of butter and only add 1 cup of water, about a fourth of a cup of apple sauce and kneed it and let it rise for about 12 hours. Then transfer it to a heavly greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 12 hours and cook it at about 375F for 30 min then you get a nice big, fluffy, sweet, loaf of bread!

My dough came out way too wet after it sat for 14hrs. I had to use a ton of flour and knead more than twice since it wasn't the correct consistency. It's in the 2hr wait now. I followed the ingredients to a T. Not surprised I managed to muck it up. Will update after baking.

Hilah I love your vids. I have tried this bread twice and sticks to the pan. Your Navajo bread turned out perfecto. and so did the tortillas. Do you have a unique mango recipe? I have tons of mango right now for smoothies, chutney, jam and Hawaiian Bread.

this recipe is by Jim lahey of New York City. if you want more details just look him up.
I love using this recipe, it's a bit hard at first but once you get use to it it'll be the only dough you'll ever use again to make bread.

- you can brush it either with milk, cream, oil, water, or butter immediately after pulling it from the oven; also, keep in mind she cut it right after pulling it out. the crust will be way softer altogether.

Oh dear! It's supposed to be very wet! That's why it works without kneading. The extra liquid allows the gluten to form without the need to knead. Do let me know how it goes, though.
