by blanching the Spinach for 3 to 4 minutes then cooking it with chickpeas for nearly 10 minutes, will completely destroy its nutritional values. there should be difference between cooking the vegetables and grass.

I use brown chana for this recipe. however I do not blanch the spinach. I chop the washed spinach and add it when the chana gravy is ready. Cook it for another 5mins and it's ready.

I been making these recipes for years and you can add green whole Moong daal it's more delicious try and test you will love it
