It s gonna just knock your socks off! is how Jamie describes this brilliant ravioli, and we have to agree. This fresh pasta is stuffed with an intense ragu filling, and then served up with a silky tomato sauce, beautiful basil and a bit of parmesan, and it s one you ve got to take the time to try. It s well worth the effort and you will not be disappointed. Jamie s Comfort Food originally aired on Channel 4. If you re UK based stream Jamie programmes on All 4

this is a mix of Ravioli with meat inside and Tortellini Bolognesi. in italy we don't use the same ingredient inside the pasta and on top of the sauce. if you eat Ravioli with ricotta and spinach, you don't put the sauce with ricotta or spinach. the best is Ravioli with Ricotta and spinach, butter sage as sauce and if you want, you can put on top formaggio parmigiano or pecorino at least. if you eat Tortellini, with meat inside. you can eat'em in brod or tomato sauce with garlic onion and basil simple simple. if you eat Ravioli with meat insiede NO TOMATO! you can put on top as sauce, tomato sauce with basil garlic and onion with parmigiano reggiano. what they do is a mix that we don't do!

I made this when I first saw it aired years ago. It looks so simple but it's actually quite hard to get the perfect consistency in the pasta and it is so delicate and complex; it's simply perfection on a fork.

Awwww how sweet when Genaro kissed Jamie on the cheek. I wonder if this was filmed before or after Gennaro's friend Antoino died? If it is after then it is good too see Genaro getting back to his fans!

After about 20 years of waffling, I started making all my pasta from scratch a couple months ago, and I'm still beating myself up for putting it off for so long. It's easy to do and very satisfying.

Did the ownership of FoodTube get sucked into the black hole that is the restaurant chain and Now Jamie n co are recreating the original in a isolated financial construct

Had to search a little to find it on the page so I can see the amount of ingredients needed, but it just said season to perfection. What a recipe description is that.

I ll be honest, never cared for either of these guys alone because I felt they had an almost phony energy, but together I could watch them for hours, great video

you think that you are only eating meat. until you see the ingredients full of the goodness of vegetables. to me that's how pasta should be made.
