Big Night In At Home - This is Japanese fast food at its best. good, healthy, nutritious and yummy. A bowl of steaming pork broth seasoned with miso and soy sauce poured over ramen noodles, shredded pork, beansprouts and a whole bunch of other bits. Finished with soy, mirin and sake marinated eggs. a winner all round!

Could you make a ramen dish which is HALAL? I mean, it looks great, but as soon as you said the Sake and Pork bones and shoulder, but it isn't halal meaning I can't make it or even think about making it.
Just a humble request. It's okay if you don't.

Not to be rude or anything. The videos are awesome. But the person who puts the recipes on the website has some poor writing skills. It happens really often with the written recipes that something is incorrect or that parts are missing.

instead of duing that just throw some garlic and onion powder in with the seasoning along with either a beef cube or some chicken stock boom easy ramen that tastes at least 2 points better then just the seasoning packet

I realize I'm super late to this game but does anyone know if it makes a difference if the chicken carcass is cooked or not? I'm wondering if I can use the left overs from another dish.

I wish most all cooking shows, especially in the US, we're this fun and informative. Performers/chefs work well together, recipes are very interesting and the variety is spot on.

hey yall, went to make this, but turned out the broth that was left after putting the ingredients in and cooking it for not even 8 hours was very little.
any advice guys? :(

Sorry, but it's so disgusting throwing the spring onions into the pot like that. All the porky, chickeny water splashes everywhere

Ben you should take that actress as a compliment. Mayim is a PhD and genuinely one of the smartest and kindest people in Hollywood.

The egg yolk should have been runny on the inside so when u open it the runny yolk gets mixed in the ramen and inriches the stock.

This is a weird question, but could you use the same approach and ingredients to a make risotto, or would that just be weird?
