My dad does not want fish touching his grill. If I want salmon when the others are having pork(I don't eat some meats because I'm picky) I have to make a foil envelope. I usually have my salmon, leeks, potatoes, lemon juice, spices and some cream. It's delicious but I would love some char marks.

the trout: I usually salt and pepper the outside AFTER applying the oil. Otherwise, you are just brushing the majority of it off.
