Square sheet of origami paper (one colored side and one white side)
Instructions
Start with the colored side of the paper facing down. If your paper has one colored side and one white side, begin with the colored side facing down.
Fold the paper in half diagonally to create a triangle. Unfold the paper.
Fold it in half diagonally in the opposite direction to create another triangle. Unfold the paper again.
Now, fold the paper in half vertically to create a rectangle. Unfold it once more.
Flip the paper over so that the colored side is facing up.
Fold the top layer of the top flap down along the creases you made in steps 2 and 3. You should end up with a smaller triangle at the top.
Fold the bottom of the triangle up so that it meets the top edge of the triangle, creating a diamond shape. This is the body of the stingray.
Turn the paper over again so that the triangle is pointing downwards.
Fold the two top corners of the diamond down to meet the bottom corner. This will form the wings of the stingray.
Fold the top flap up slightly to create the head of the stingray.
Flip the stingray over one final time. Your origami stingray is complete!
