Actually, I grew up with those trays. So as is it seemed average. It is funny that things from my glory days that I took for granted are now desirable vintage and antique. it is a matter of perspective. And so, I am able to appreciate your mud cloth reinvention. For me it made it look less cheap. Loved the other transformations.

I watched this last year and saved it. This weekend I gathered up bunches of glass jars and vases, most of which was under the kitchen sink, and have been enjoying coloring up with a variety of alcohol ink colors I bought this weekend at a small business art supply shop. Thanks for the inspiration.

All elegant, a lot of style. The only thing is that you use the color black too much. This sometimes changes the image of the piece. You must use other colors compatible with the piece. I have always liked your technique in decoration except for the color

All items look really good especially the vase. Now for a cheaper option to resin, you can also use Mod Podge, which can give you a glossy look. Just thought I would mention that

The vase was my favorite. I may try that on an old gallon liquor jug. You look almost identical to my favorite singer, Adam Lambert. Your both eye candy to this 69 year old! lol

Love so much of this but my absolute favorite is the vase. I am creating a stone base on the bottom of a large flower vase. Can't wait to see how it comes out.
