Marco is one of my great friends who moved from Orange County to Los Angeles recently. His new apartment had so much character and I knew it would be the perfect space to transform. I had a completely blank canvas to work with and was able bring out the Parisian accents with furniture pieces and a few DIYs. How do you think it turned out? Comment below!

The rooms turned out so nice!
During the reveal I would have liked to hear more from the resident reaction. I felt like that whole time was spent on the designer rehashing what he'd explained during the set-up and then telling the resident how to feel about it.

ooh the details of the moulding. so happy you said sofa instead the c word lol. such a great idea to measure the tape on top of the measuring tape (stealing that tip). painting on large canvases looks so intimidating, they look great

I think this is a really beautiful example of how to combine very different styles - couples could use this in trying to compromise their different tastes, as well. You are one kind, talented, and hard working young man.

You've totally transformed this home into a sophisticated and livable space that says welcome home. Thank you so very much for sharing your process, including your artistic gifts for drawing and painting!

Those pieces from Castlery are so well crafted! Beautiful furniture and it fits so nice in that style apartment. Everything looks so put together, well done!

Your furniture choices, arrangement, and styling are all superb. Fave moments: Eat Pray Nap, the mantle mirror, and the candle sconce next to the wall mirror.

I love it when you recycle furniture and decor items. It not only lends a unique, personal look to a room, but it's also good for the environment.

Don't like your paintings, sorry. You could try a bit harder, and more colors. I love most of your ideas they are great. But! slow down talking.

I just want to suggest that you use oil paint instead of acrylic, it will make a painting look a lot more interesting and richer.
