A ball of tinfoil is not effective for washing up, I've tried it. When you threw the foil away from the paint tray you wasted a lot of paint and I definitely do not believe the stale bread trick because you cracked the stale piece you showed us but what came out of the tin foil was not cracked at all. Why waste a bag freezing water to remove chewing gum when you could do the same thing with an ice cube? You shouldn't close a wet umbrella it causes mildew and rust.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can use the zip tie idea to bind up my 2020 documents for storage. I used to use twine in 3 holes which was a true pain in the neck! EXCELLENT IDEA! : )

The aluminium foil scrunched up to clean caked on cooking messreally works, I always do this now for pots, pans and baking dishes
