New batch of my own cutting boards is finally available: All of the beams for the outdoor kitchen are completed in this video. In the next one, I’ll burn them and raise the full structure! Something I’ve really been looking forward to. I also cook a traditional Swedish dish called raggmunk, a potato pancake with extra crisp only achievable with the high heat possible in a carbon steel pan. I’m using my pans from Kockums Jernverk, made in Sweden from high-quality Swedish steel. They create a natural non-stick surface and work just as well over an open fire as they do in your kitchen. Built to last a lifetime, they’re one of the most affordable choices you can make in the long run. It’s craftsmanship I truly believe in, made with the same values I stand for. I’m proud to represent them. Get the same pan here: P. S. I might have added the leather belt seen in the video to my website Thank you all for watching my videos, it means the world and thank you Stevie Antoniou for helping me edit my videos! A massive thank you to Revolution Race for the clothes that you know I am always wearing. Get the same clothes here: ____ My own website: I hand-craft my own cutting boards in the log cabin. I can only make a few at a time, so you have to be first to buy one when a new batch is released. They are made from hard nordic oak, making them extremely durable, holding up for a lifetime of abuse. Instead of having a plastic cutting board that really should be thrown away after 2 years. I was told that my dream of selling handmade products wouldn’t work in today's world where everything is mass produced. I want to prove them wrong. My goal is to expand into other handmade products. Making a series of lifetime quality handmade goods. Breaking free from mass production, supporting our environment. ____ Thank you Stevie Antoniou for always editing my videos!

In this peaceful and immersive adventure, I find myself in the heart of the Swedish wilderness, surrounded by towering trees and the serene silence of nature. With only the essentials and my woodworking tools, I embark on creating handcrafted pieces in the quiet solitude of the forest. The calm atmosphere, with the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the occasional birdcall, offers the perfect setting for focusing on the craft. From chopping and shaping wood to carving intricate details, each step is a meditative process. This experience isn’t just about creating functional items; it's about connecting deeply with the natural world, feeling the wood, and enjoying the solitude. Watch as I transform raw wood into beautiful, functional pieces, all while embracing the tranquility of the Swedish wilderness.

It looks like the school you went to was a success. The joinery you are using is next level! I can't wait to see this structure come fully to life. You have amazing patience, which I lack. Also, when does your cook book come out Cast Iron Cooking, with Erik. I've started to try cast iron outside in my firepit and it is great. The neighbors can tell when it start to smell good in the back yard.

I never understand, where does this guy get his food I mean I don't see any fields, seems like he hunts every once in a while.
And where does he go to the bathroom Where does he brush his teeth He must be buying shaving cream and deodorant.
Where does he get electricity to film How does he edit and upload
That cabin feels way too small, and it doesn't seem much like the wilderness.

I enjoy your videos, but wish to relay you the feedback that the fastforward bits undercut the ASMR vibe of most of your content. The videos air a sense of calm and relaxation, and suddenly there's a burst of hyper motion and activity. I'd say either show it whole, or use a faded transition towards your progress. For your consideration.

Thank you for the quiet. I find every time a Swedish person starts speaking, my furniture begins to assemble itself or starts doing weird things. Not sold on the Japanese chisel. Not as robust as a European chisel based on the very different work styles of their tradesmen.

Well im sorry to say Erik i cant watch your videos anymore, lately in your last vids the sound quality on things happening have gotten too sharp and loud, i personally think its so bad it makes the videos unwatchable which is a shame cause i always enjoy them.

Perhaps the title should be Woodworking in the quiet Swedish wilderness, since there were lots of sounds like banging, crunchy walks in snow, making dinner and much more Why not call it Enjoying woodworking in the Swedish Wilderness

Great vid, I love the craftsmanship in this. Skilled, with a lot of care, but it feels honest and passionate. I'm always happy when I come across chanels like this.

I notice the dog has coats in this video. While I tend to think dogs already have coats and that a couple of comments on the last video about the subject were rather impolite, I'm sure you know what you're doing.

Very calming and beautiful visual atmosphere in all the shots. You can see that it is not another single angle gopro footage. This could go to Netflix at least.

Hey Erik, is it worth making/buying or retro fitting your drill press for a mortiser chisel (Square hole drill bit) I reckon it'd work pretty good for you =D

Es sieht in dieser Kameraperspektive erschreckend aus, wenn dein Strich entlang des Senklotes oben 2mm und unten 5mm neben der Schnur liegt.

This calm, focused woodworking in the middle of the woods is so relaxing. The sound of the axe and the snowy forest vibe is perfect
