I've been drawing in my sketchbook every day for the past few months and it's been fun because my goal was to just complete one page a day. I didn't stress about whether a drawing would turn out good or bad, as long as I finished that one page. 80% of the time I was really happy with what I made. And yesterday I finally finished my very first sketchbook, which was really exciting. I've drawn more in the past few months than I have in my entire life. My skills have definitely improved and it has become a habit to the point where I get slightly agitated if I don't draw on a day.
Also, random but I really like your hands. They'd be a great reference -

Schaefer, you've always been their to provide us with your advice and tips. I just wanted to say thank you for that, and I hope that you know how much you mean to us. As we expand on our artist skills we come to the realization that art is what you make and the way you do it, and that perfection isn't what you should be striding for. Thank you for teaching us that lesson.
(I sound weird saying that because I haven't really been watching your videos, not on this account anyways, but I really do mean everything I just said C: )

i try to draw every day, but i have 2 giant problems: 1: while i do improve, since i have improved my anatomy skills, i improve at such a slow rate, it's like i'm not improving at all. i'm not happy with how slowly i'm improving. 2: i have a tendency to compare my stuff to other much greater artists and i think: -oh, i can never reach that level- or -i could practice until the end of time, and i'll never be that good. - or something similar. i try and not think of comparing my stuff in a bad way like that, but it happens.

First thing I thought was -I don't have time for that- lol.
Next thing I realized was that I am actually drawing/painting every. single. day, even though I do not complete the same one in a day!
Yes. I am a super patient person and I know why. I've been drawing and painting my whole entire life as a hobby.
Thanks for sharing your insights. Enjoyed fully.

It's been a good time since I stopped studying -art, my deception and stress of life caused me that, I really don't know what to do, in my free time I prefer taking a rest then doing art cause it consummates energy a lot

I think my maths teacher saw this video, because he makes his lectures so boring that I end up scribbling Mona Lisa on my notebook. Such a nice teacher. Always thinking of his students.
