How to Draw a Retro Cartoon for Beginners - Christopher Hart Flora: Hi Christopher! I am an amateur (very amateur) trying to draw 2 subjects to gift to my friends: 1 is a manga girl who is jumping carefree in a river fully clothed as if she is fully embracing life and #2 is a cartoon phoenix. I have 4 of your books and love them. Do you have advice on where I can draw inspiration from? For drawing 1 I am thinking of taking part of the body from the master guide to drawing anime. Hahahahahaaaa my almost 2yr old son looked so confused when you colored the image (speed image lol) I couldn't help but say, Woo! He colored that fast, hu? Lol
