Killarney Late Season Canoe Trip in a hot tent (teepee) Watching the weather forecast nearing the end of November, it was clear that at least one last canoe trip was possible before the lakes froze over. David Lee graciously invited me to join him for a three-day trip to Killarney Provincial Park, where we hoped to find open water and solitude, a rare thing in Killarneys front country. Arriving at the park on Saturday morning, we were pleased to find little snow, no ice and a vacant campground we indeed had this section of the park to ourselves for the weekend. We didnt see another person until we left two days later. The lake was calm, completely ice-free and the forest and exposed bedrock were almost snow-free as well. With temperatures hovering around freezing, the weather was perfect for hiking to the top of the highest ridges

Wow this was fantastic it showed your journey into video film making I missed your explanation and maybe too much music compared to your newer stuff but still breathtaking. The way even then, you wanted to show to us the viewer those perfect tear drop icicles on the rocks and plants caused by the once rushing water. You knew then or should I say, we can see clearly you have always had an eye to photographic art in the camera.

First rate vid Shawn. nice locale and time of year. Love the elevated shots and the creek water drops. Always enjoyed a vacant place this time of year. Little less damp and dreary and a bit more sun and I'm off to MCCrae for some small gaming and a campout. Enjoying your vids and you cast a gentle shadow in the bush and on the waters. Ta.

That was Shawn Killarney lakes. i live about 15 miles from the Killarney lakes in Ireland. I can see why some Irish man renamed those lakes. you should google Killarney lakes Ireland to compare the beauty of both
