An amazing episode Thanks so much Blue Marlin has been #1 on my list since I was 15 years old. I'll be 60 come October and have yet to catch one. It's great to see action like this. My fiance and I are getting married in August and we will honeymoon in Costa Rica sometime next year not too far from where this was, so, here's hoping. Keep up the awesome work and thanks again: )

Love the video, love that it's a long video, something you've been slacking with Josh. Also love the way the kid acknowledges and appreciates the differences between the two fisheries. He's not just some spoiled brat that swears he knows everything about fishing. Pretty cool of him. Honestly of your best videos and you're not even on it, yikes.

Because I know nothing about marlin fishing, what was the gold/yellow pole used when the fish was beside the boat? At first I thought it was a gaff, but it didn't have a hook on it that I could see. Appreciate anyone filling me in if they know the answer Heather

Watching this type of fishing is amazing. fishing these Giants is a true sport. I mean some of these Marlin are 600 lbs and up, and reeling them in takes hours. Am I the only one who roots for the fish sometimes though lol?

This kid is a lot more enjoyable to watch than the other guy always hollering telling people to reel and trying to take the pole out of peoples hands and screaming like a 12 year old everytime he catches a fish
