Rock pooling and Beachcombing after bad weather can be really interesting. You honestly never know what you might find. In this video I identify and explain many different seaweeds and underwater sea creatures. Including a species I have never seen before

Great vid as usual. My Daughter still loves rock pooling (As I still do) and she is 21 now. The last time we had big easterly's (The Beast from the East) on our coast the stuff that got washed up was unbelievable, They even did a rescue mission for the Lobsters as people were taking them home by the wheelbarrow. The tons that got saved were taken out to deep water. Black Lug and razors everywhere and hundreds of Octopus plus fish species we never thought lived in the North sea.

Great video mate, you-ve very quickly become my favourite content creator over the past few weeks of discovering you. Have you ever used/heard of crab snaring with a beach caster? I-ve seen lots of Americans use them but nobody I-ve spoken to here in Scotland have ever heard of them, would be cool to see your opinion and if you-d ever give them a try. I-ve just ordered one myself as I don-t have a boat for crab pots

Hi mate, I wondered if you are asked which seaweed is edible due to the variety you get from Chinese takeaways-- well that stuff called crispy seaweed isn-t in fact seaweed at all it-s finely chopped deep fried spring greens, recipe available in a popular high street Asian restaurant/takeaway cookery recipe book beginning with W! Always great informative videos to watch, thanks, regards Rob.

I absolutely could watch you doing this for hours. So interesting. You are to the sea creatures what Steve Erwin was to Crocks. Few people cared much about crocks and even feared them until he came along. You show up on the Sean and make tide pools way more interesting than they already are. Please keep making videos like this. BTW, cool accent.

Would you consider doing a pure educational video, not to your videos arent educational, I love them.
But could you talk about snorkeling diving? And maybe talk about timings to go out for lobster/crab. either low tide or high or how far to go out from the coast etc. keep up the good work --

I really enjoy the videos in which you teach us and show us different living organisms. As much as I find your family adorable, I enjoy the teaching videos the most! :) Thank you for all of the information and tip on how to forage properly.

I am going to be taking James and some of his classmates out for some shoreline education sessions in the summer. If we have any dates free would anyone else be interested? Government restrictions allowing of course. -

It might be the australian in me but I cringe every time he sticks his hand in a dark hole under a tide pool shelf, I'd be way too worried about being stung by something that will send me to the hospital haha

I've never watched one of your videos before. Real glad I did, I found it really interesting looking at the different creatures that dwell in the rock pools. I'll definitely be back to watch more -
