An incredible subscriber milestone reached. Thank you all so much for your support. What a wonderful way to start the day. Some awesome lure fishing resulted in a few nice fish and a colossal PB. Then some challenging drift fishing for flat fish produced another fantastic specimen. All in all an amazing day

Fab vid once again. Do love watching the Fish Locker. A question if anyone knows and a bit off subject to this vid. But I was recently told that apparently if you catch a mackerel and touch it with your hands they only have 30hrs or so to live as they're nerves or membrane is in the skin, or something along those lines don't quote me exactly. Is this true? And if so then would it make more sense to take the fish home large or small and use it for bait or dinner? Apologies for such a rookie question.

Hey John a fantastic video with a few lovely specimens. The colour and pattern on the wrasse were awesome. Congratulations as well on your follower achievement - well deserved for all your hard work!
You mentioned you were going to change your Powerpro braid - is that because you-ve used it loads and that-s why it-s become too soft or is that what you find generally with Powerpro?

have you ever thought where that soft plastic lures end up? when they just peck peck or bite through the lure it stays In the fishes gut where it remains till the fish dies (probably! or at the bottom of the sea for the next few hundred years. dont we chuck enough plastic in the sea already. bit of a rant but, solid lures work just as well. time to stop using them!

sod off back up north! Catching all our southern fish! You're too good a fisherman! Seriously though, thank you for giving me and my sons hope that there is still fish in our waters. Love your videos! Keep up the good work and save some fish for us (at least you throw them back for someone else to catch)

Can't believe I'm watching this so late! Congrats on 200k, absolutely deserved, and really inspired me to get into foraging in general and really cultivate those important skills. On top of that, it's just a bloody good time watching! Here's to 1 million, fingers crossed!

There is no way you can watch your videos and not smile with you when you catch something. The joy just travels through. Love how you know and use what is best for the fish. This is the best way to learn about fishing if you ask me. Thank you for doing this!

Big congratulations on 200k. and with videos like this its easy to see why the subs are going through the roof.
For sheer consistancy you are in a league of your own and the size of the fish you pull up. beggars belief.
Well done and stay safe.
