Looks like a great fishing destination! We have a spot in Michigans upper peninsula that offers a chance at honest 20 inch stream brookies. We fish it in early may for the trout opener, but I always wondered how it would be the last week of September just before the season closes. This video has inspired me to go fish it in September this year! Thanks Colin! P. S. - could you please hire me as an assistant Colin? LOL!

I love Fall fishing especially in still water. I fished a beaver pond in Utah in early November and it started snowing those big, puffy flakes and not a breath of wind. It was eerily quiet, almost surreal. I was catching fat rainbows which helped but it was an incredible experience nonetheless.

Great show Colin! Absolutely love Algoma country and the drone shots were awesome! That's a wonderful area for remote canoe tripping and fishing especially in the fall. No bugs and usually nice temps. Take care!

Great job. nice fish. but I have to ask, why do you face the back of the canoe when fishing from the bow? Looks like it makes everything more difficult, especially for the guy in the stern.
