Went fishing yesterday briefly and got out there late so the bite was quick but got a nice bass on a livetarget yearling baitball walking bait around some shallow weeds where bass were chasing baitfish. Then switched to a jig on a rocky point and got another nice bass and lost 5-6 more (dont ask) including a possible 4lb smallmouth (was a giant smallie just maybe not 4 lbs. Broke my reel shortly after and that ruined the whole day. makes sense why what I used worked well just gotta use the spinnerbait and my squarebill next time.

Would definitely be interested in early/mid/late fall info, and also in your monthly list. You mentioned 'patron account'? I didn't see that in the long list of goto's, which is it? Abigail in NHPS: have never seen a video of yours that wasn't interesting and/or hilarious, just sayin'. although that fling thing you do? seems like just wanton waahaa to me. It might drive me nuts if it was your clothes and I was your parent, but hey I'm not So I'm just laughing. Peace and love to all haters

Do you fish frogs in the early fall? I was out today throwing a booyah pad crasher popping frog and got two big blow ups but couldn't set either of them. Not bad for my first frogging experience, but I want to land some good looking fish By the way, your videos are the best and they're the first ones I watch when I'm trying to learn something new

what lures would be good for right now? it's late October and the weather has been crap. such as a lot of rain and it's been cold. I live on the west coast and I just can't get the fish to bite. I've been using finnese jigs and soft plastics and nothing beens working. I fish mainly local ponds. and info would help: )

I love these videos where you go through baits and teach how and when and what time of year to fish. I was wondering if you could make a video on all your tackle boxes and baits you have and if you use a tackle bag and just an overview of how you store your tackle. Great video, really helpful suggestions. If only you weren't so negative on most of your video's. you have a great life, more wealth than most guys your age, still love at home ( so free rent, you get to travel a lot, Why so glum? You should be bouncing off the walls with your good fortune.

I fish at a local pond. the pond has one small grass pileup but other than that there is no cover. The bass tend to not swim shallow and stay deep. What would should throw in the fall. I usually throw a red eye shad that is red (lipless) and I catch fish but not many.

Great advice man. I just need to adjust it to San Francisco/Bay Area Northern California fishing. My main reservoir is pretty natural and has crawdads and bluegill. So your advice will still greatly help Any California fishing vlogs you're aware of and might recommend?

Love your blog. One thing that would help me is if you would add water temp. to your articles. Here in OR. where I live the water seldom gets over 70 degrees so my idea of warm water is much different than water in the south. Thanks Mike
