My father was there as a young man. A Navy Seabee. 111th Special Battalion, part of Special Forces in those days. He helped unload the bombs from the USS Indianapolis where they were assembled on Tinian. Thanks for the memories to add to the stories he told. And giving your children this special trip will live in there memories forever! This stuff always reminds me of JAWS; Quint and the Indianapolis scene. That was a true historical fact he told as his version of the story.

No need to explain CNMI one of the most wonderful places in the world. Easier to get to Guam first then Saipan for anyone that would love to visit there. I personally been Guam 4 times and theirs so much to do in the resorts. Toalofofo Bay wonderful, Ricks Reef great spot surf after a Hurrican be their. The fishing well ask Rob.

My Grandfather fought there during World War 2 and the stories he would tell me were both terrifying and Heart warming. I would look into his eyes while he spoke about it and could see his sacrifice he made for this country and the pain he felt losing his friends and buddies along the way.

Thank you rob! Most definitely CNMI is amazing! That whole region is amazing! North west pacific! CNMI, Guam, Palau, to Micronesia! Endures a lot through the times of Spain, Portugal, Germany, Japan, and now USA! We endured a lot and still the most happiest people in the world!

very moving video. I enjoyed the videos while you were there and wish i could go. My uncle served in the marines and fought in all the major campaigns there including iwa jima and siapan. i thank you for those videos. i have watched them numerous times.

This was so refreshing! We see people go into other countries and reap the benefits of their culture during vacations but we never see them come home and appreciate it like this especially in such a respectful and proud way, love to see it
