Man this is awesome. I can't believe I've never tried this or heard of it. We have loads of gizzard shad and alewife up here in the north. and I have to imagine this rig would do wonders in the FALL, fished slowly, to represent shad that are dying off. Since the bass are normally gorging themselves prior to ice up, you would probably crush them on this. Definitely going to try this. I already have tons and tons of flukes. A weightless fluke is one of my favorite ways to catch em.

This technique looks awesome and I want to use it. After reading the rules, am I correct that the double fluke is legal in FLW tournaments, but not in Bassmaster tournaments?
Thanks for all the videos Scott. Was hoping to get teamed up with you at the Open last month on Smith, but didn't.

Dude? I tried this In prefrontal conditions today. Winds blowing, waters 2-3 foot visibility & tornado warnings hitting my phone, but Dude? I threw this DF rig & caught a 10 lb 9 oz Bass! Thanks Dude! Oh yeah double fluke rig was fished in the B-I-double B in Alabama RTR! Cmon?

like the video and want to try the double fluke rig, but maybe I missed something. how do you tie a palomar knot to your main swivel that is already tied to your main line? there was an edit in the video and I didn't see how you managed that.

My favorite way to fish is with a fluke. I always seemed to lose a lot of them but now that I've switched to a trokar hook I seem to keep more hooked. This is just another reason why I buy what you promote. Love my pline also

first of all, how often does the top fluke wrap around the line of the bottem fluke? 2nd of all, that looked like a hell of a lot of work when you are going to be fishing all day.

Scott Martin, I've been a fan of your Dad, and I was just at The Forrest Wood Cup weigh in and expo. Love your style and how you teach, and See Ya next year in Hot Springs.

How do you tie a palomar knot to the swivel after tying to main line? I see no way of wrapping the line loop around the swivel with line on one end already.

I went today in Loxahacthee, catch 3 small once on double fluke, love it. next week I'm coming to Clewiston, hope I'll meet you there.
