I am a bass pro-employee and how the company has handled the coronavirus is disgusting. First they accepted federal money then cut employee salary. I keep asking why they accepted the money we have been open throughout the whole pandemic, yet they cut pay and we have not seen the federal money trickle down by reversing pay cuts nor any form of hazard pay. My theory is Johnny took the money and paid out the money to people above store management positions while cutting their pay.
Second, this crap about the mask Johnny bought, he donated 400, 000 to hospitals supposably and said in an internal memo the remainder will be sent to his stores for employees. My store has not seen any mask, and I talked to some people at other stores they received the masked but were told they could not wear mask or gloves because they do not want to scare customers. What was the point of the mask than?
Third, 95 percent of the product we sell comes from China, I refuse to purchase anything from bass pro, even with my 45% discount I rather pay full price else were for American made products. Anyone who continues to by products that are made in China imo are un-American.
Our store has a sign out that says no more the 100 people in the store, our store is one of the highest volumn stores in the country and they do not monitor how many people are in the store. We usually have 500-1000 people in our store at a time. Customers do not respect social distancing and will get right up in your face.
The gun counter is packed at all times, the guns are never wiped down, they just put back up on the shelf for the next person to touch.
I can go on about more unsafe practices we have experienced, and provide internal memos to back up my statements. I hope Scott will read this and drop bass pro as a sponsor or speak out against it. I for one have been offered positions with other companies once this pandemic ends and will leave the company and never shop at bass pro again.

Scott I heard you say you were bringing her down to Louisiana, well just thought I would let you know about one of the biggest poker runs in the country we have out in Springfield, Louisiana. Which is very close to New Orleans and on Lake Maurepas, your boat will fit in perfectly and there are thousands and thousands of boats just like it. Its usually the last weekend of may/early July but it was cancelled this year because of the pandemic. So keep in mind for next year that it may be something you and your family can come down and enjoy while we show you how we party! The poker run is called the tickfaw 200. I humbly request a chance to go salt water fishing with you Scott! I know there are many others who deserve it more, but I had my very first trip cancelled by the virus lock down. I had just spent a ton of money on gear and a guide and then it was cancelled and I lost money. I would fly to you for the chance to use all this salt gear thats is going to waste. Im 55 years old, about ready to retire after 33 years of first responder service. All I can do is ask and hope. Whoever gets to go, you will be lucky and blessed for sure!

I took two of my children to see you at the classic this year. One 8 and the other 16 and both are ate up with fishing. The 8 year old has been asking for the past 2 days dad please comment on the video I promised I would today. He says he wants to go fishing in Venice with you. We live in costal MS just swing by the marina and grab us on the way to Venice. Thank yall for the good content.

lets see some performance numbers on this boat when you get a chance, i work on boats for a living, but still a cool video, you missed out on learning the ''zen '' of sanding fiberglass, it should be a requirement to buy a boat. lol!
