In a little experience I have fishing tournaments at the club level I would say that you're doing things right get your points make the championship in your case the classic and then go out and try to hit a homerun there's always next year I kind of tend to believe that in a bass fishing tournament where the skill levels are all about the same it doesn't matter if you're at the professional level or the club level or anywhere in between somebody's going to catch him and a lot of people aren't going to catch them and it's can pretty much be anybody's day when everyone shows up at the boat ramp so I think fishing conservatively get your points and make the classic is the way to go.

Fishing the Coosa in that water color having a round blade spinnerbait seems to work better than the willows, as does the swim jig. Hang in there Scott, you will get one soon.
