Learn how to build a completely custom website using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and Elementor. You will learn how set up your local server, create the design, and build a custom WordPress theme that works with Elementor. The design section is sped up because it is just an example about how the design is done. You can create your own design or use a preexisting design. Once you have learned how to build out your website, you will learn how to get it from your local server to a production server and how to setup SEO, security, and caching the right way. Don't worry if you don't know much PHP. Everything you need is explained in the course. - Assets (including mockup, theme folder, and images): https://github.com/thedevdrawer/sample-law-firm-template -- This course was created by The Dev Drawer. Before I spend 5 hours watching this, riddle me this... is this going to be an interactive database driven website? I enjoy the ease with which one can create a WordPress website, with headers and footers, and the overall theme, but I can't seem to find a coherent and cohesive explanation of how to inject my own code to control the content of each page in a process flow. Too many videos tend to be hours long sessions of -do this, do this, do that-; without providing any cohesive reasoning for why, and I walk away learning nothing. Not to mention that I simply cannot bear foreign accents beyond the first two or three sentences. I would rather hear a lecture in Hindi than one by an Indian trying to speak English; and I don't comprehend a word of Hindi. Perhaps it makes no sense to use WordPress for interactive websites, but it would be nice to remove the front-end coding from the equation. Let someone else can the visuals, and let me write the back-end process logic to create the content.

Your menu_order works in a completely different way than to anyone else, and you didn't explain why or how. We just get menu_order 0 in practice-areas post type, not 1 2 3 4 5.
I was wondering for 2 days what error did I make in code, but after reading DOCS about menu_order, value: 0 is actually default, proper value, and it's you, who made it work different way but didn't explain how.

I know this is free content, but if you're going to put yourself out there, prepare to be judged. This man cannot teach. This video is incredibly disorganized and he was just going through the motions as fast as he can.
I suggest watching this video without following along. View it like it's a demo and then go take a real WP course.

There is a difference between doing self and making users understand. You are not making us understand how it works basically... you are just doing it.
Mostly, this video is for freshers who doesn't have knowledge how to build a website in WordPress from scratch so you have to keep this in mind and make users understand in such a way.

For some reason when I reach the CSS part around 1:14:45 I apply changes but I cannot see it on the website. Does it happen to somebody else?
This is my second time doing it all over again moving the files in different folder just to see if it was that but I cannot find the problem at all.

just wondering on the wordpress loop why sometimes you use if(have_posts(): while(have_posts());.... and other times you just use the while loop alone while(have_posts()):..... so wondering when we should inclide the if condition when looping if while is sufficient by itself

Thank you very much for this very informative video. I would like to know if you know of a plugin that allows you to send an email to your customers reminding them of the products they have saved in their wishlist and informing them when they go on sale. Thanks a lot
