Hi! I'm SF, a second-year software engineering student.
I find _computer graphics_ pretty interesting and am self-studying to learn further in that area. I only payed enough attention in my uni's linear algebra course to pretty much forget everything I learnt, so here I am!
-Reply thread- to track my progress: (I'm doing the reading and recommended exericses alongside watching through the video clips. The timestamps are what time I got up to that day).
22/2 -> 1:18:33
23/2-> 1:35:07
24/2-> 1:51:28

Btw, if you're interested in studying computer science/software engineering at university, feel free to ask me any questions below!

I'm quite a picky learner when it comes to choosing the source of information and this one is just the right way for me and this topic! Great explanations of all the concepts and the materials provided really helped me. I had the feeling that exercises which I found online were just getting very complicated very fast and this had just the right amount of complexity every time. Thank you very much for giving us this information for free!

I am most impressed with your ability to teach this Gauss method. when I have time I plan on taking the complete course. You are amazing, The time in planning and designing this course must have been beyond
hundreds of hours. The level of dedication to develop this. Shows your dedication to teaching. Thank you!!!!!!

at 47:20 why z, w are free variables and not y,w or y,z as we can easily move w, y, z around and make anyone of them z,w leading variables too instead of just y. similarly at 43:00 why can't z be a leading variable instead of y?

I am 10 minutes into the video and the explanation of the concepts are so much better than my professors-. It may just be me, i but i thoroughly appreciate how clear you-ve made it for me. Thanks!

I'm studying physics in germany, my first math exam is in 4 days. I'm using this video to study because my professor does not know what explaining means so wish me luck guys lol.

who else is a 16 year old, who took the lowest level math class, but somehow ended up here? (also I really appreciate this teacher who contributed 11 hrs. to teach linear algebra)

Hello...my name is Rishi and Iam in class 9 now...I want to start learning quantum mechanics from now so, can I start with linear algebra for maths in quantum mechanics

Me watching this 12 hours before my finals

I'm joking but I'm starting my first year this year

12h of lecture seems a bit -compact-, LinAlg I in my physics BSc alone has double the lectures, excluding practical courses
