I-ve been living in MacOS for the last few weeks as well, as I decides to Hackintosh a Dell. It has the terminal of Linux and most Linux commands should work but the app support of Windows. Well, kind of a middle ground. I find that if you hate Windows but need closed source stuff like Office365, this is the way to go. It-s also blazing fast and intuitive.

Ah!!! when vegetarians try meat! lol, MacOS is a fine UNIX descendant, a very distant Linux cousin but a second cousin to BSD ;).
Apple is so busy with iOS, iPhones, and iPads. I just wish they give MacOS the attention it needs and contribute more to the open-source community. Heck Microsoft is doing it!! Xcode should've been the VScode.

I have to agree with most of what you said...I use my windows pc for just gaming and I use my macbook pro for music production, video editing, graphic design...I don-t really use my linux box too much...at work I have a linux laptop and windows laptop which I change up every month or so...

Always used mac since os7-9 moved to windows and I felt homeless now I use and need both. I'm glad you went to the dark side, I just got
an old 2012 MacBook pro using the catalina patch and its still as fast as my new PC the main reason I don't like windows is Bill Gates Satan 2.0 xpeacex

Thanks for this video! After working on PCs for over 30 years, I-ve just ordered my first ever Mac as I think the new Apple Silicon architecture is where it-s at.
I literally have never touched a Mac but after watching this and some other vids I am properly excited to get my new toy.

I would like to oppose: Windows 10 works as stable as no Windows before for me. I screwed with my host parents mac in 1998... They had to call a technician twice to restore the Mac to working condition... Maybe that was cause I was a Windows user their Mac didn't like me.

mac just seems to be much more intuitive and easier to change system and network configurations. It seems less frustrating than Windows. But the lack of some upgrading as far as graphics and memory is a downer. Cost is definitely pretty harsh as well.

I like spectacle better than magnet. And spectacle is free too.
Replace
spotlight with Alfred.
Terminal with iTerm2
Dock , make it small and auto hide and just ignore it.
I-m not a fan boy but I use it for its reliability.
