Well done. Thank You
I have two follow up questions.:
1. Once I installed Auto Hotkey program and the Cursor Highlighter it all worked fine. Then I deleted the installation files, and after a reboot it all no longer works. I see the Auto Hotkey program under program files. Where could/should all the files be located, as I don't want them to remain in the downloads folder? UPDATED below.
2. Can it be made to load/run at Windows 11 start up? UPDATED below, the answer is yes it all works the same for Windows 11.
Thank you again.
UPDATES (from the Professor):
Cursor Highlighter Installation Instructions:-
Download the latest version of -AutoHotkey- and -Cursor Highlighter- from the website, and install AutoHotkey first.-
Important to leave the files in the -Documents- folder for it to work.:
Once you have installed AutoHotkey, you can put the .ahk file for Cursor Highlighter (and its associated .ini file) in any folder that has read/write permission. This is because the .ahk script needs to be able to read and save the settings in the .ini file. Good folders for this include your -Documents- folder or your -Desktop-.
To get Cursor Highlighter to load automatically at start up:-
1. Keep the .ahk and .ini files in the folder that they are in right now so that you know that it works from this folder (or a good folder to put them in is your Documents folder). -
2. Create a shortcut to the .ahk file by right-clicking on the .ahk file and selecting -Create shortcut-. This should create a file of same name with -shortcut- at the end of the name. -
3. Put this shortcut file in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
Works like a charm. And many thanks to the professor for emailing me these instructions.

Dang Kevin... is that gray coming in or just some loose dust??? lol
Your tutorials are always meticulous, your look reminds me of a Walt Disney World cast member and voice articulates (your jokes could use some improvement - lol) I acknowledge that you are among a few that has removed the Shortcut arrows from your desktop. Perhaps a tutorial for the other techies that can't keep up to speed with the aesthetics. Keep up the awesome content.

I followed your instructions and I added the cursor and customized the halo size and color. However, I'm the only person who can see it. No one on my Zoom meeting can see my cursor. I didn't realize this until I asked. I had conducted two classes already, before I found out. What do I do to fix this problem? I have Windows 10 by the way.

Hi Kevin and thank you so much for your hard work, it helped a lot. I have an issue with the Luc Boisvert' highlight cursor: in Box Game when I record a video, the highlight doesn't show. Like this program doesn't recognize it but it works perfectly with the windows one . Can you help please ? Thank you

Just downloaded Microsoft 365. The issue: I want to add my work email but Microsoft says I can't. My version only recognizes my gmail. How can I load my work email to my laptop that has Microsoft 365? FYI - my work computer has Microsoft 365 and it doesn't allow me to load it onto my laptop. Why not?

Thank you Kevin for your very interesting and useful videos. I've tried to download Cursor Highlighter 2.2 a few times but when I let it create a settings file it doesn't work. What can be done about it.
