A few days ago I accidentally deleted all comments because I was moving my account over to another one and I FREAKED OUT, but reading the comments here make me realize it might have been a good thing because sometimes people reply to my old comments and I cringe so much, some were made just a few months ago but I feel like I've changed. The good comments I've made have already been read by a lot of people so it's not that sad those are gone. It feels good to start afresh and I don't have to worry about things I've said, from now on I will only post things I think are worthy and that I won't be embarrassed about in the future...

It feels good when the person I was in the past is deleted forever. I'm finally going to sleep knowing that the past me isn't gonna haunt me in my sleep. But one sad thing that I know is that my 30+ popular comments with 500 - 30,000 likes are gone but the good thing is that I have screenshots of them (I got to screenshot my comment with 27K likes and 15K likes) before I removed all of my comments and replies today. I'm sure that I will get a chance that my comments will get popular once again get over 40K likes this year.

I dont know what im doing wrong but it does not seem to give me the edit or delete button to hover over ( the thing that looks like three dots). this being 2022 now, it seems they removed that option and replaced it with an X button that really doesnt do anything but remove the comment from my own personal view. Im really getting annoyed with even using this useless platform at this point. They are pushing hard for regression.

i wish i could search for comments i made and easily delete them
i remember saying really bad things or stuff that i wish i didnt say i want to delete them
idk if i deleted them already though so im worried someones going to come across one and see me as a bad person

this wasn't helpful for my problem. I made a comment on one video, and it began appearing on every single video I watched after that - and would NOT let me delete them. -

I just scrolled to the bottom... I was so cringey I wanna die but I don't want to delete all... there are a few comments with thousands of likes lol
