Great stuff!
My only problem is: if you use the slicer for cookie type, the profit status becomes messy since the goal was set for the partner. Any ideas for having a goal for partner/cookie type?
One more thing: if you place the chart on a separate chart sheet (which I highly prefer), you can't see the chart is filtered, and you don't have the interactive tool for filtering in the chart itself. Wouldn't it be more user-friendly to add the cookie type to the filter box instead of using a slicer?

At the 18:02 mark, you chose the Customer ID, to show 'all customers', however, as an accountant - I would have chosen the customer ID from the orders table to see all customers where we have an order. e.g. trying to answer the really important question of - how many customers do we have, rather than how many customer do we have registered.

What should you do if you have multiple txt files or spreadsheets which can stand alone as their own pivot tables but you want to compare across files? Ex: I have 20 txt files with the same info for different years. How can I put all the years into the vertical axis without making them sub categories? Hope that question makes sense.

Great Video.... But....suppose one of Kevin's Cookie Company's customers -gobbles up- a rival... and they merge... how would you create the equivalent of a -calculated item- once you've begun to use the data model? I don't see an easy way to do what's easy in a standard Pivot Table - The Calculated Item to combine items. ----

Hi Kevin, many thanks for the excellent video...Was giving the exercises a try; from 14.00 on when you calculate the revenue, cost and profit, I only have the formula in the formula bar, and the values don't get populated in their respective columns; they all remain blank! Any advice?

I usually work with text data which does not need a pivot tables, all i want is to combine the data on multiple common columns and load it in one sheet. I usually copy the new table and paste it in new excel. it is possible to load it in power query?

Hey Kevin, Thanks for your videos all are very helpful. I do not have the Add Column that you do on my pivot and now that I am using Power pivot the calculated field is not available. Any thoughts ? I am needing to divide on field by another.

I'm getting old versions of the Excel spreadsheets when I download them? Because of this most of the options you are using aren't available to me. Do you have any idea how to get them to download to the most recent update of Excel?

I think this might be a bit of an undersell, but this was absolutely LIFE CAHNGING! I am picturing all of the sheets that I have built without knowing this, and how I plan to fix them all.
