ABOUT THE INSTALLER : I have seen another distribution using it (AVlinux) because it is a one man's job and he configures his system then ships it as a restore backup kind of thing, I think it is te easiest and faster way to do it. It works well, but i can see the frustration it causes when we are all used to have automated installations. I dont like it either. The developer here said he is going to change it so it's all good!

Great video DT! I personally wouldn't use this nor recommend it.
Too unpolished and confusing for new users.
And the icons there almost in the middle of the screen with that black bar on top of the background looks really weird.
At least make the panel background transparent or better yet remove it completely.

isn't sizing, moving, mapping and manually resizing windows the domain of the window manager, not the ui toolkit? in any case, i'm glad he spent some time discussing things like the root password, the xfce panel's icons and the wallpapers available, clearly they're foremost on everyone's mind when picking a distro

Nature wallpapers seem an odd choice for an distro like that. I'd have picked something kind of sporty like Manjaro does, or kind of gangster-ish, like fleur-de-lis, or something that looked like the inside of a futuristic spacecraft.

No offense to the developers because I know they probably worked hard on this. But that looked painful. Like, it hurt me to look at that interface and install method. The bar in the middle of the screen looked like a malfunction...

Window resize tip :) when window borders are too small to grab - hold down the left alt key and the right mouse button and then simply drag the screen edges where you need them. As long as you are inside the window and nr an edge.

Thanks for taking a look at Drauger OS! We appreciate the feedback. This is the last release with the installer you dealt with (SystemBack), so next release should have a much smoother installation experience.

This distro looks like something a child would build. It looks like complete trash to be honest, and that installer! God damn it what a nightmare (edit: added missing d)

Hi Derek, just to point out that AV Linux uses the same installation method. It is described in the AV Linux Manual, which is quite a well made manual.

Derek have you tried alt rightclick and then drag to increase and decrease a window? So much easier then trying to grab the edges. Nice default wallpaper.
