My Workflow - Tiling Window Managers, Workspaces and Multi-Monitors DistroTube I am often asked about my workflow. Here's a quick video about how I typically work on my computer. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workflow Anubhav: I'm still on windows, however I use dexpot for multiple desktops(workspaces), autohotkey for shortcuts and groupy for tabbing. I find it very efficient to use windows this way. I also have a clean desktop and taskbar. I don't really like icons in my face on the desktop.
Great video dt

huh, is there not a command to resize a window to a some% of the screen, or really to some pre-defined size?
EDIT: I use sway. I know how to do this in sway/i3. I was curious why DT didn't have this setup to suport his workflow in his DE.

maybe this is holywar, but using lxde after more then 10 years in linux. i3wm is cool but with wine and windows programs is not so good. Ps: pcman is cool, but sometimes crashes on a lot of files. Pps: sorry for my English.

Hi Derek, sorry to bother you. Probably you mentioned this in another video but I am new here. Which Linux distro are you using? (please be specific, pure arch, manjaro, etc) Thanks for the really great videos.

Thank you for sharing your dotfiles. This is what I found amazing with the community, share everything, improve, and share back. Btw I have also a workflow based on tiling WM.

This looks very productive! Seems you got the most of OBS. I prefer more movie-sh approach: when you rely less on recording and more on editing. Videos look funnier that way.

3:48 Don't you get that confirmation by seeing that the text on the Start Recording changes to Stop Recording?
8:16 I can actually see VirtualBox in the top left corner.

i use a kwin script to bring the tiling experience on kde. Awesome! close a window, the next one goes full screen! I can only imagine how it is with a proper tiling WM
