Hey, Kevin! Excellent video! I have a question for you. I noticed that you also have a Rode NT-USB (the original one). I tried to connect it following your instructions on tying a different mic since this microphone is not supported by the software yet. When I try to use Rode Connect software with OBS and Zoom Meeting is giving me all kinds of error messages. Have you tried to use the Rode NT-USB with the Rode Connect Software on OBS so that you can use OBS as your virtual camera on Zoom Meeting and Rode Connect manages all the audio, including your pc and your mic?

Regarding the Voicemeeter, Banana or Potato software mentioned, it is worth noting that the software is not really -free- -- a donation is actually expected if you continue using it beyond an initial testing phase... but that only applies to -personal- usage. However, if using for corporate or other non-personal institutions, there is a license fee.

Thank you so much for this video. When I open Rodeconnect my microphone doesn not show on the software even if it-s connected to the laptop. I-m not seeing in at the bottom to drag it and drop it in the provided box. Any tips? Been trying to figure this out all day and havent found any videos that talk about this! Thanks a lot Kevin!

Great tutorial. But once I connected my NT-USB Mini to the Rode Connect software, it seems to have done something to my mic. The headphone jack goes dead when I close out the Rode software and I can't hear anything out of it in other DAWs. The headphone light on the mic is out too. Thoughts?

Thanks for the video Kevin. I have a question: I've connected my Rode NT USB to the computer, but no available microphones show up in my Rode Connect. I've tried 2 microphones on 3 different computers (2 windows and 1 mac), and none works. What do you think I did wrong?

Great content and very informative instructional video! Very appreciated! The -Voicemeeter- App you linked ONLY works with Windows PC. Is there a Mac OS version? Or can an audio App like Garageband be used as System Audio?

On my MacBook Air m1 Rode Connect crashes the Audio Input and Output Devise Settings randomly while the App is Not Running. If i deinstall Rode Connect the error is gone. Any other Mac m1 Users with that same issue?

How do I turn off my microphone monitoring with the headphone jack on the mic? I can't figure out that. I know you can do it for the monitor mix but that's not the headphone jack on the back of the mic.
