1:25 Do not blindly copy and paste terminal command you find on the internet
2:09 Do not su or sudo without understanding why you need to have root privilages
2:43 Never chmod to 777
3:19 Never execute a command recursively unless it is absolutely necessary
3:54 Never play to directories outside of /home unless you know exactly what you'r doing

What to do If you bloat your distro, like you don't remember what you installed or how to check if you're dependencies are in use.
Me: just re install the dirstro, ahh it's exhausting but hey it's fun :D
Back: For me it's a group of terminal commands in case you messed something

New to linux for about...a week using Endeavour Os and I have messed up the OS a few times. Easy to reinstall and fast compared to Windows. If I install anything from the AUR I make sure many people have and also consult the Endeavour forum just in case.

5:08 Well... What I do is btrfs snapshots I do from time to time and delete from time to time... And try to do before every apt upgrade... So far I haven't needed to use them, I always made my system work somehow... But I hope that is enough

rule 8 never mess with the kernel just for the fun of it. (pros excluded). you hear left and right that you can compile a kernel for your specific hardware, and it will run very well, fast stable... no. you are new, you are not there yet.

Once you understand why, how shit works after breaking linux install a fresh linux,
Watch the video again,

Back up the files you want to keep. If it's something you want to keep, burn it to an optical disk. if you freek it up, you can reinstall your OS and grab your back ups. No worries, Linux is quite forgiving.

In regards to No. 3, I'm not sure why xmrig cryptominer requires root privelages. All I can think of is that it gets higher CPU priority?
PS: I run the no donation version of xmrig

LOL - The first time I tried Linux I got sick of always having to enter my password so I recursively chmod'ed recursively from root to set all permissions to 777- what a fiasco.
