DT, i feel like you didnt really put time into Jitsi...All the things you said are all addressable with configuring Jitsi. You can password authenticate or via token api. You can change how the video size shows up (config file under /usr/share/jitsi-meet) or rebuild jitsi-meet from source with npm and change stuff even more. Zoom is an abbomination, and Jitsi is a real good alternative in my opinion. I hope you try Jitsi and give it another shot. Its always have been improving. The docker spin of jitsi-meet is getting more development as well thats worth a try. I hope you find that Jitsi is actually nice.

Why that hate on Jitsi? Was it really that bad?
That said, I use Wire.com for day to day conversations, though free accounts have limited video sharing between two people. Conversations involving video feeds with 3+ require a paid -Pro- account, which is cheap... but Zoom being free. Frame-rates in Wire are incredible as well. I can screenshare a video and to the recipients, it looks as if they're watching the video locally. Encryption is another factor worth emphasizing.

Thanks for this meeting, :) menit 27:00-28-10 saya diberikan kesempatan berbicara :).

The best selling point for Jitsi for our company is self hosted option. We hosted a server in one of our on-premises vm. People can just come in, make a meeting, and don't have to worry about installing anything or making account. Self hosted Jitsi will make anyone who starts meeting as moderator and prevents kicking by anyone else than host.

Hi DT, not sure if someone saw this already or not but when you have the chat going in Jitsi and hover the cursor over their screen, at the top right there are three dots, if you click on those (can't remember if right click or left click) you have the option to send a PRIVATE MESSAGE to that person only.
Kind regards,
Simon, UK

Not to be that guy but. Could you change all of the he's and his with he or she? It is an official English pronoun after all. And before anybody says that it's okay because most software developers are guys. Maybe you are right, but it still feels a bit like an excuse.
