Termonad Is A Terminal Emulator Configurable In Haskell DistroTube Termonad is a terminal emulator that is interesting because it can be configured using Haskell. So it's perfect for those of you that want to practice Haskell or already have other Haskell programs installed (like Xmonad or Pandoc). NOTE: Although I focused on the option to configure Termonad via Haskell, you don't have to do this if you aren't comfortable with programming. Termonad has a preferences menu (like most terminal emulators) where you can set some options, but you are limited in what you can do using that method. Although it's technically for power users, creating a termonad.hs is the better way to go here. - https://github.com/cdepillabout/termonad

DT, I have probably zero interest in learning Haskell (honestly don't know any programming language but wished I had taken the time to learn one), but I would watch a series of Haskell tutorials if you did them. Really, loving the content lately, and your two most recent vim videos are definitely my favorites. I don't program, but I do write and edit config files in vim everyday.

You mentioned that you plan to learn Haskell. I am a Haskell enthusiast, advocate. Haskell is the best programming language. If you find it difficult or just want to chat with someone about it then contact me and i will try to help.

Even though I do think this is cool, it's interesting to keep in mind this might seem like a quick terminal emulator but this is running on 64gb ram, 12 core thread ripper, that is to say, everything would run quick on this lol

I like how it's configured but I find that the font rendering isn't as nice as with ST. This is because of antialiasing and autohint being enabled in ST but I can't find whether this is possible to do in termonad.

When I was scrolling through Medium articles, I found an article about 'Hyper Terminal Emulator'. When I checked their website, it looked impressive and promising. Can you give it a try?

It'd be useful if you also talk about unlimited scrollback support and performance, text wrapping on window resize, and search capabilities too.
