How about a video on animated wallpaper. You used to be able to set some X screensavers as wallpaper with the --root option. I used to love the gleidescope screensaver with a really low animation speed, that way it didn't use up a lot of system resources, and people who were watching it thought they were going crazy, because they swore it was different a second ago. Or the tentacles screen saver. Lots of resource use, but, come on, it's tentacles on your desktop.

Hey DT,
Let's say I have a directory with 15 subdirectories. Inside are files of a common type (for example, .m4v), and other random files. From a terminal, how do I reach into all the subdirectories at once, and move or copy the .m4v files to another directory?
Thanks!

I hope I will be not rude, Derek, but I am worrying about you.
I see the color of your skin around your eyes, and your teint.
Did you check you do not have some blood issue, like leukemia ?
Is everything all right ?

Imagine combining that script with for example Dmenu or Rofi. Would be super awesome to pipe the styli.sh script into a cool Menu!
Keep up the good work but keep in mind to rest here and then, Derek.
See ya'll!

for those on Ubuntu, just download the script and replace the lines from 118 to 123 inclusive with just:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri file://$PWD/wallpaper
looks like it works

I reckon one very interesting way to use this would be as an init script or in a cron job. Brand new wallpaper every time you log in, or every X amount of time...
