Ah come on DT you love the Internet. How many videos have you made? I too hate the social media sites and I am not connected to any of them. I shut them down many years ago. Young men and women who are seeking employment are unaware that employers look at your posting history on these sites. Pointless arguing. Social skills can only be obtained with actual human contact. And the zombie people in life spend they're lives camping out on a computer. I'm retired and enjoying it with a mix of motorcycling, boating and building projects (some big)... :) Seen most of the world... Many good people.. But there are some very bad players out there...

Otherwise the clear command not always do the same thing. I use only live operating system so I have occasion to experience this. In first case the command really clear, so all text will be deleted from the terminal. This is for me the normal mode, since I suppose that also the RAM will be emptied. In second case the clear command only moves the sceen with text up, so apparenty the screen is clear but you can scroll for the previous text. This mode of operation is very annoying for me but I cannot figure out which setting controls this behaviour.

Firefox is still objectively superior to Brave or any other Chromium based browser. It's not based on chromium, if you don't like the ui, it can easily be customized to however you desire. Mine looks exactly like older Firefox. Any Firefox fork is just that, a fork. It's still Firefox. I get it for the people who don't want to learn how to customize Firefox and harden it themselves. But otherwise, anyone who likes things customizable and not spooky should steer clear of anything based on chromium.

To members of the Linux community, or to DT, when DT says Linux is private, does he mean Linux is more private? I'm a tremendous Linux noob, hoping to familiarize myself enough to jump ship from Windows to Linux. But I'm of the understanding that the Linux kernel has proprietary code, like drivers, or -binary blobs- (whatever that may mean). Do we know for certain this code is privacy-respecting? Or does he mean that Linux is more private than Windows since we have less code that is proprietary?

Firefox users disable all telemetry for privacy reasons->websites see little usage share of firefox->stop optimising for firefox or just display unsupported browser on webpage->people switch to other browsers because convenience->firefox tries to get normies on board and try to expand revenue streams beyond google money to sustain development->advance users say its heading in bad direction->switch to a fork that also hides most info about useragent->why is firefox dying?

To uninstall, get a list of installed packages before you install DTOS. Then you after installation you can take a new list. They you know the difference, and can uninstall all new packages that are in the second list but not in the first.

Hey, DT. You seem to reference a lot of very specific comments, so it seems like you read all the comments so I just wanted to drop by and tell you that I, and many others, really appreciate what you're doing. Keep up the great work! :)

Me personally, I would not rule out any browser because of political leanings.... My main motivation is video quality.... If the quality is good, if it will save me eye-strain, then that's a huge plus in my book.

Hey DT, why do you always label Windows as the most insecure OS bloated with spywares, keyloggers, etc, when Android, a Linux distro (non GNU?), is same if not more insecure and bloated than Windows?

The reason why Lenox is not used by a lot of people is because it-s hard for them to install it it-s hard for them to understand it and it doesn-t play PC games if you did all that windows will be gone
