PingTools is a free app that you can run on your computer to monitor other computers and IP devices on your network. It does more than just monitor their connection but can also be used to test open ports, find MAC addresses, run traceroutes, open RDP connections, shutdown computers, wake on LAN and more.
There is nothing to install and the tool is free to use. You can download it here. Just note that their website doesnt have an SSL certificate but we have checked the site and it seems to be ok.
