Can you help?!! I want to multiply a pivot table value field that compares this month to last month PPU, giving a variance, by this month's volume (field). Inserting a calculated field doesn't show that value field variance as an option to use, just the base PPU for the month, and -calculated items- are greyed out. Any way to do it in Excel? Want the Pivot to update with that calculated revenue impact of the price change. So its -This month PPU - Last month PPU x this month volume-. Fields: PPU (revenue/volume), volume, revenue, month

We work a lot with scatter plots and bi-plots (PCA), comparing samples (>2 at a time). The whole purpose is to compare results (hedonics, just-about right, meet expectations, purchase intent, etc.) presenting simultaneous results for all samples tested (it could be 2 or 4 or 5 samples). Do you know if Excel dashboard can handle that?

Hello. Very nice video. I have a question: why insert a calculated field in the pivot table instead of adding a column to the original data table with a formula to obtain the information you're looking for?

Hi Mynda. Thank you for your work. Can you please explain what's the difference between Plan and Forecast figures? Why are they different and what's the meaning behind them?
