Mcafee security is a scam and Ill tell you why, in the 20 years of owning computers and cellular phones I never had an issue with viruses or any data being stolen, I thought that was just luck and decided to get McAfees service for all my devices and everything went well the first year, until the contract was almost over, the app put a reminder on my calendar to renew the service or my phone would be compromised and hacked. A week later google notified me about my information on my phone being compromised, coincidentally McAfee renewed my contract without my permission just to let me know my information was compromised, coincidence i dont think so, I believe this company will sell your information on the dark web to get you to stay, its scummy and bad business practices.

I am using it since 2018, i remember while i am at work and i clicked an .exe file and everything after that just don't seems correct, .exe files are multiplying, auto installs are appearing, and web-browser is auto navigating, (at this time McAfee LiveSafe is already installed), i was at the highest panic, but my AV defeated all of the .exe virus after 15-30 mins, including running virus programs and services, and yeah it saved my laptop from reformatting and my private info from being lost, so it is worth a try for this anti virus.
McAfee LiveSafe could now run smoothly in Windows 7, it is not hanging anymore, just like as Windows 10 version of it, so it is a plus for me!

This video is useless, it a paid commercial, everything here is what Mcafee advertising says. Many others have tested performance impact, McAfee is second to none (negative impact).
Just think, we only get their score, no scale is provided, I didn't found anything about their methodology, nor the criteria for grading. Honestly, it basically says, McAfee is great and use my link to get a discount.
Now, tell me how 4 % of market share translate to 80% of devices protected by this antivirus.

The Your McAfee subscription has expired pop-up is a browser-based scam that displays fake error messages to trick you into subscribing to a service that you dont need. They try to rip me off i got rid of that rip off anti virus program. I couldnt renew if i call mcafee they said i needed 200$ worth of viruses removal was bullcrap a con smh i had to reset my laptop to uninstall that con artist rip off program im warning everyone dont buy it!!!!!!

I hate mcaffee. They really really punish you when you switch to another software, by spamming you with daily messages to get back to them, and there is no way to turn them off. If I remember correctly, I had to go to my registry and dig out the program bits, which were disseminated throughout. Once was enough, I never want to relive that again.

it was a fine anti virus until it started thinking everything in the laptop im using is a virus
it keeps on telling me to restart
i restarted but the same thing keeps on happening
Restart to remove virus
and it says the same thing all over again
dont know how im supposed to fix it but restarting won't solve the problem

I bought Mcafee live safe for 19.99 (20 euros) and its 18 months (1 year and half) so its 1 euro 11 cents per month which is nice.
But once the 18 months pass can i buy another cheap serial? Because im not paying 110 per year no way jose. If not ill just buy any other antivirus brand thats cheap in a physical store

I've been using McAfee Total Protection with Safe Family for over 2 years. As an IT guy I really can't find much fault in this software. It works and over the past 2 years, it has protected my laptops from at least 3 Malware attacks. I say I've received value for my money.
